Welcome to Carrick Boarding Kennels and Cattery.

We are located in the countryside  4 miles from Carrickmacross  Co Monaghan,  just 2 minutes off the N2 and are well signposted from both.

Our facility is fully licensed / insured and has been built to provide a safe and happy holiday haven for your pet .
Open all year round  we offer specialist accommodation to dogs of all breeds / mix breeds , cats and other small pets.

Helen, Steve and the rest of the team provide much more than just a place for your pet to stay while you are away. With over 20 years of experience in caring for and looking after other peoples pets we provide individual attention and cater for the specific needs of every guest.

We also offer special needs care including those animals on medication / specific diets etc..

A grooming service is available to boarders which must be prebooked at time of reservation.

We are open for collection and delivery of pets Monday to Saturday 8am – 4pm.

Pets must arrive or depart during normal business hours without exception as these times are strictly adhered to in order to facilitate the routine and comfort of our guests.

All dogs boarded must hold a current vaccination certificate and have received their yearly booster within the previous 12 months as well as inoculation against Kennel Cough.

All cats boarded must hold a current vaccination certificate  and have been inoculated against feline influenza and feline enteritis within the previous 12 months as well as being delivered in their own cat carrier.

The vaccination certificate must be produced at each visit to the kennels, we regret without this no animal will be admitted.

All vaccinations must be completed at least 2 weeks prior to boarding.

We recommend that any animals boarded receive a flea and worm treatment, ask your vet.
